PPD Task 2



WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE?

- Industrial experience can be gaineing experience through work experience, internships and studio visits. getting to know the surroundings of a design studio learning from people who already do what you wnat to do. 

- It is about gaining the understanding of how to work in your field and how become the best throught the knowlege of others. 

- Industrial experience will teach you technical skills and life skills, not only how to work act in a working enviroment but how to apply your self with the skills you have/will learn. 

- Industrial experience is about engaging with the industry you want to go into, understanding it and learing from it, to become a better designer.  


WHAT CAN YOU LEARN FROM INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE?

- How to proffesionally collaborate with other creatives. 

- How to conduct your self within a proffesional working enviroment. 

- The methods of working and how proffesional designers work towards a brief. 


WHAT FORM/FORMAT COULD INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE TAKE?
- Studio visits 

- Visiting Printers 

- Internships

- Work placements 

- Freelance work for studio


WHAT AREAS OF INDUSTRY ARE YOU INTRESTED IN? 

- Editorial design, 
I would like to do some work experience at a design firm that specilises in editorial layout design.

- A publishing company.


HOW ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE? 

- How to aproach design firms and get work experience.

- What to expect from a proffesional work enviroment.
